Tecnu Calagel is the original clear anti-itch gel that goes on clear. No more pink, cloudy residue! Effective itch and pain relief for poison ivy & oak rash, insect bites, sunburns and more. Maximum strength formula contains Diphenhydramine HCl 2%. It’s also wonderful for bug bites, noseeums, mosquito bites, rashes and minor burns. Calagel does not contain steroids or hydrocortisone. Plus, it stays where it’s applied rather than running. Our clear gel won’t stain clothes. Calagel is instantly effective and safe for adults ages 2 and older. It can be used alone or under a bandage. Calagel is effective for both itch and pain relief. If you are dealing with poison ivy or poison oak rash, we highly recommend using Tecnu Extreme Poison Ivy and Oak Scrub first, to remove the rash-causing plant oil called urushiol from skin. Then apply Calagel as directed.
