Expert Gardener Cherry Belle Radish Vegetable

All America Selections winner. Brightly flavored and crunchy, this fine heirloom radish makes for great fresh eating all season. Round, smooth, scarlet ¾" roots with tangy, white flesh are perfect candidates for crudités, salads, or soups. Outstanding roasted, mingled with lemon and brown butter (radish tops included).

• An heirloom variety, 'Cherry Belle' is one of the best radishes you can grow in the home garden. Expect an extra-early harvest of round, smooth, scarlet red roots with crisp, white flesh. The 3/4" radishes retain fine eating quality all season. Perfect for salads! 
•  Radishes are perfect for growing in pots on your patio or deck. Use a commercial potting mix rather than garden soil and make sure the roots have enough room to develop fully according to your radish seed packet instructions. Plant height is 4". Plant spread is 3". You can enjoy radish thinnings as microgreens.
• A cool-season vegetable crop, radishes are among the fastest vegetables you can grow. Sow radish seeds in well-worked soil after danger of frost in early spring, then again in late summer for fall crop. In frost free areas, you can sow in the fall and sometimes in winter too.
