Wie erscheint im Schatten der Selbststrangulierung das menschliche Leben? Anhand der biblischen Figur des verlorenen Sohnes wird dem abgründigen Ereignis der Selbsttötung in mehreren Anläufen nachgegangen. Dabei wird das Phänomen immer wieder in den Blick genommen und alle Erklärung abgewiesen, die das Phänomen verlassen und auf anderes zurückführen will und so für ihren Teil das Gespräch mit dem Selbstmörder verweigert. Die Überlegungen referieren nicht, sondern sind dialogisch. Ein literarisches Gespräch mit anderen Texten führen die vorliegenden Texte, die zugleich Ausdruck eines langjährigen kollegialen Gespräches sind und so schließlich auch den Leser einladen, die eigene Stimme zu erheben. Im Geflecht solcher Unterredungen wird das – nicht führbare – Gespräch mit dem Selbstmörder gesucht. On the basis of the biblical figure of the prodigal son, the abysmal event of suicide is explored in several attempts. In the process, the phenomenon is repeatedly examined and any explanation that seeks to abandon the phenomenon and lead it back to something else and thus for its part refuses to talk to the suicide victim is rejected. The reflections do not give a lecture, but are dialogical. A literary conversation with other texts is conducted by these texts, which are at the same time the expression of a long-standing collegial conversation and thus invite the reader to raise his own voice. In the network of such conversations, the – unmanageable – conversation with the suicide is sought.
